Prelude of Things to Come?

Are the results in the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee a prelude of things to come down the pike in Punjab? That has to be the big question in Badal family and their supporter. On the other side Captain and his supporters are likely to take the momentum into next months general elections in Punjab. The question to ask Delhi Sikhs is why? Why did they pick the Sarna brothers to manage their Gurdwaras again?

There is no evidence of Sarna brothers going out and paying for votes, with liquor or blankets or saris, so how could they beat Badal and SGPC with their big coffers of money? What did the Sarnas do that SGPC and Badal could not or would not have done in Delhi? Is this a vote for Sarnas or a vote against Badal?

Call it my fortune or misfortune but I did not get my education in Punjab, which I have long felt had a definite downside that I was never able to get the rich cultural experience of Punjabi literature and poetry. Given that I cannot really read Gurmukhi very well, it has been even harder to read and appreciate the works of Bhai Vir Singh, Shiv Kumar Batalvi and many other gems of Punjabi literature.

Due to my own handicap, I am very appreciative of audio or visual recording of Punjabi literatures. In my quest to find such work I came upon apnaorg.com and was delighted with the recording of poetry I found.
